Three ways I look at a house

A listing tells you the price. I look at a house as a builder, a landlord, and a numbers person, because I’ve been all three.

General contractor: My crew and I build and remodel: basements, egress windows, decks, drain tile, kitchens. I can tell you what’s cosmetic, what’s expensive, and what’s a deal-breaker.
Owner and landlord: I own and manage long-term and short-term rentals in Wisconsin and Florida, and I’ve flipped houses. I know what tenants want, what breaks, and what a property actually earns.
Technologist: My background is in using technology to make work faster and simpler. I bring that to real estate: quick answers, clear numbers, and a process that doesn’t waste your time.

A contractor walkthrough is not a home inspection. If you’re buying, I still recommend a registered home inspector. The walkthrough helps you know what to ask.
